Because genuine military surplus may have been issued, stored or used, condition can vary from item to item. We grade our surplus consistently and conservatively so you know what to expect.

What to Expect
New / Unissued
Unused military surplus. May show storage, handling, packaging or age-related marks, but no meaningful prior service wear.
Grade 1 - Excellent
Good used service condition. Fully serviceable with light-to-moderate signs of use.
Grade 2 - Good
Serviceable used condition with more obvious wear, fading, markings, repairs or cosmetic imperfections.
Grade 3 - Fair / Serviceable
Heavily used but still serviceable for its stated purpose. Significant wear, repairs, fading or cosmetic defects should be expected and clearly described.
Our Grading Promise
We aim to grade surplus consistently and conservatively so customers understand what they are buying. Genuine surplus varies; those variations are part of its history, but significant condition issues will be reflected in the grade or product description.
Please note: “New / Unissued” refers specifically to unused military surplus and does not necessarily mean the same as a newly manufactured commercial retail product. Unissued surplus may still show signs of long-term storage, handling or age.
