Muster Point Outfitters is a trade name of Half and Half LLC.

We sell both genuine military surplus and new commercial products. Because the condition and packaging of these product types can differ, the return standards below explain how returns are handled for each category.

Return Period
Unless a product page states otherwise, eligible returns should be requested within 15 days of delivery. Customers should contact Muster Point Outfitters before returning an item so that return instructions can be provided.

New Products
New, unused commercial products may be returned within the stated return period provided they are unused, unworn and returned in substantially their original condition, with original packaging, tags, manuals, accessories and other included components where applicable. Products showing use, damage, missing components or material alteration after delivery may not qualify for a full discretionary refund.
Certain new products may include a manufacturer’s warranty. Where applicable, warranty information supplied by the manufacturer will apply in addition to rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Military Surplus & Used Products
Military surplus products may have been issued, stored or previously used. Wear, fading, repairs, military markings, names, cosmetic variations, manufacturing differences and other characteristics consistent with the advertised grade are part of the nature of genuine surplus and are not automatically considered defects.
Customers should review the stated grade, photographs, description and sizing information before purchase. If a surplus item is materially different from its description, incorrectly supplied, or has an undisclosed defect beyond what would reasonably be expected for its advertised grade, the customer should contact Muster Point Outfitters promptly.

Incorrect, Damaged or Misdescribed Items
If an item arrives damaged, is the wrong item, or is materially different from the product description, please contact Muster Point Outfitters promptly with the order details and, where useful, photographs of the item and packaging. We will review the circumstances and provide an appropriate remedy, which may include replacement, refund or other resolution as applicable.

Return Shipping
For discretionary returns, the customer is generally responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated. If the return results from an incorrect item, shipping damage, or a material error by Muster Point Outfitters, reasonable return-shipping arrangements or reimbursement will be provided as appropriate. Original shipping charges are generally not refundable on discretionary returns unless required by law.

Refunds
Approved refunds will normally be issued to the original payment method after the returned item has been received and inspected. Processing time may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution. Any deduction or refusal relating to an item’s returned condition will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

Exchanges
Because military surplus inventory can vary by size, condition, pattern and availability, a direct replacement or exchange may not always be possible. Where an exchange cannot be supplied, an appropriate refund or alternative resolution may be offered.

Non-Returnable / Final-Sale Items
Certain products may be identified as final sale or non-returnable where appropriate, including items for which hygiene, safety, customization or other legitimate restrictions apply. Any such restriction should be clearly stated on the product page before purchase. This does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Product Inspection & Safety
Customers should inspect all equipment before use. Unless specifically sold and represented for that purpose, used or surplus equipment must not be relied upon as certified safety, protective, climbing, lifesaving or medical equipment.
